Well, if you’ve spent any time with me lately.. you’ve probably heard me talking about one thing nonstop:

MyStory!

And honestly? I’m almost embarrassed to admit how late I am to this party..

For quite a bit, I admired people who used MyStory from afar. It looked fun, immersive, and like it added so much purpose to everyday life in Second Life. But somewhere along the way, I convinced myself that using MyStory meant replacing all of my carefully curated furniture and décor with an entirely new setup!

As someone who loves luxury homes, beautiful interiors, and creating spaces that feel uniquely me, I just couldn’t bring myself to do it.

Then I finally gave MyStory a try.

And wow, was I wrong.

What I quickly discovered is that MyStory can fit into YOUR lifestyle instead of forcing you to build your lifestyle around it. I popped a few scripts into MY furniture (yes.. even my bathroom) and suddenly – all of the gorgeous spaces I’d spent years decorating became part of my daily routine! My kitchen wasn’t just for photos anymore. My dining room wasn’t just for staging. My bedroom, office, patio, and living spaces all became places I actually used throughout the day!

It felt like my home came alive!

Living in The Valley Estates has made the experience even better. One of the things I love most about The Valley is how easy it is to blend roleplay into everyday life. Instead of feeling like I have to constantly grind or figure everything out as a MyStory newbie, I can simply enjoy the lifestyle.

Case in point: The Curated Plate meal delivery service!

What could be better for a MyStory noob than chef-prepared meals delivered right to my doorstep each week?

While everyone else is meal prepping, grocery shopping, and acting like they have their life together, I’m over here opening the door to another delicious delivery and pretending I’m the kind of woman who has a private chef on speed dial.

Honestly, it feels perfectly on-brand.

One minute I’m enjoying a quiet morning in my luxury houseboat, the next I’m receiving a fresh meal delivery and settling in for dinner without ever leaving the neighborhood. It makes everyday roleplay feel effortless and realistic, while still letting me enjoy all the beautiful things I love about my home and community.

And that’s really what surprised me most about MyStory.

It’s not about buying every item or completely changing the way you live. It’s about adding meaning to the things you’re already doing. Suddenly that gorgeous kitchen gets used. That cozy breakfast nook becomes your morning coffee spot. That beautifully styled dining table hosts dinner. Your home becomes more than a backdrop.. it becomes part of your story!

Somehow the little things become the most enjoyable parts of the day.

I log in planning to do one quick task and before I know it, I’ve had breakfast, checked on things around the house and spent an hour simply living in my space.

It’s become one of those things I can’t imagine playing without now.

So if you’re like I was.. sitting on the sidelines because you think MyStory requires a complete lifestyle overhaul – take it from someone who is very, very late to the game:

You don’t need to give up your luxury home.

You don’t need to replace your favorite décor.

You don’t need to buy everything all at once.

You can keep the aesthetic you love, continue living your dream lifestyle, and simply add another layer of immersion to it.

And if you’re lucky enough to live in The Valley Estates, you might even have chef-prepared meals arriving at your doorstep while you figure it all out!

Not a bad way to start your MyStory journey, if you ask me.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I think my next Curated Plate delivery is almost here… and apparently I have crops to water afterward.
